Basketball Game Preview: Sullivan County Griffins vs. Northwest Area Rangers

Sullivan County hasn't had much luck against Northwest Area recently, but that could start to change on Saturday. The Sullivan County Griffins will be playing at home against the Northwest Area Rangers at 12:30 p.m. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

While Sullivan County didn't have the best season last year (they finished 9-14), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They walked away with a 53-46 victory over Canton on Monday.

Meanwhile, Northwest Area entered their tilt with Central Columbia two weeks ago with three consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with four. They managed a 48-42 win over the Bluejays.

Northwest Area pushed their record up to 6-2 with the victory, which was their 14th straight at home dating back to last season. As for Sullivan County, their win bumped their record up to 7-2.
