Volleyball Recap: Cortez Comes Up Short

Cortez lost against Tempe on October 1st and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Colts took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Buffaloes.

Cortez's defeat dropped their record down to 4-13. As for Tempe, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-8.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Cortez is set to square off against their familiar foe Desert Sunrise at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Tempe will challenge rival Coronado at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
