Basketball Game Preview: Edgar Wildcats vs. Phillips Loggers

Edgar has gone 8-2 against Phillips recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Wildcats will welcome the Loggers at 7:15 p.m. Edgar has now lost seven straight, leaving the team hunting for their first win since January 8.

On Monday, Edgar had to suffer through an 84-36 loss at the hands of Loyal. While losing is never fun, the Wildcats can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Wisconsin basketball rankings (they are ranked 265th, while the Greyhounds are ranked 85th).

Meanwhile, everything came up roses for Phillips against Cornell on Monday as the team secured a 76-30 victory.

Phillips' win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 5-10. As for Edgar, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-10.
