Softball Preview: Narraguagus Knights vs. Jonesport-Beals Royals        
        
		
            
 Narraguagus is 10-0 against Jonesport-Beals since May of 2017, and they'll have a chance to extend that success  on Wednesday. The Narraguagus Knights will be playing in front of their home fans against the Jonesport-Beals Royals at 4:00  p.m. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
 Jonesport-Beals is hoping to do  on Wednesday what Shead couldn't  on Monday: put an end to Narraguagus' winning streak, which now stands at three games. Narraguagus blew past Shead 12-1.
  Natalie Stanwood made a splash no matter where she played. She  didn't allow a single  earned run and  only one  hit while striking out nine over four innings pitched. Stanwood was also big at the plate,  scoring two  runs and  stealing three bases while  getting on base  in all four of her plate appearances.
 In other batting news,  Paidyn Cashman was  incredible,  scoring three  runs and  stealing four bases while going 1-for-3. She is on a roll when it comes to  stolen bases, as she's  now  stolen  at least one in the last four games she's  played. Another player making a difference was  Erica Rackliffe, who  scored a  run and  stole a base while going 2-for-2.
 Meanwhile, the third road  match was the charm for Jonesport-Beals, as they earned their first road win of the season. Everything went their way against Shead on Saturday as Jonesport-Beals made off with  a  14-2 victory. That 12 run margin sets a new team best for Jonesport-Beals this season.
 Narraguagus is  on a roll lately: they've  won six of their last eight matchups,  which provided a nice bump to their 8-4 record  this season. As for Jonesport-Beals, their win bumped their record up to 3-6.
 Narraguagus skirted past Jonesport-Beals  3-1 in their previous matchup  back in April. Does  Narraguagus have another victory up their sleeve, or will Jonesport-Beals turn the tables on them?  We'll have the answer soon enough.
