Volleyball Recap: Mia Ancayan and Alexis Sowers Secure Win for Bishop Kenny + How To Watch

Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Bishop Kenny walked away with it. They put the hurt on the Parker Braves with a sharp 3-0 win on Tuesday. The Crusaders haven't had any issues with the Braves recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive victory against them.

Leading Bishop Kenny to victory were Alexis Sowers and Mia Ancayan. Sowers had eight aces and five digs, while Ancayan had five digs and three aces. What's more, Ancayan racked up 18 assists, the most she's had since back in September. Another player making a difference was Sophia Miller, who had ten assists and two aces.

They weren't the only good servers: Bishop Kenny was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 25 aces. That's the most aces they've managed all season.

Bishop Kenny's record is now 16-10. As for Parker, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 10-8 record this season.
