Belleview Christian picks up 17th straight win at home

Recap: Belleview Christian Bruins vs. Front Range Baptist Falcons

The Belleview Christian Bruins entered their tilt with the Front Range Baptist Falcons with four consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with five. Belleview Christian came out on top against Front Range Baptist by a score of 67-55 on Tuesday. Having run the score up that high, both teams probably have some extra defensive drills coming up.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Belleview Christian to victory, but perhaps none more so than Garrett Owen, who scored 18 points along with four steals and two blocks. Owen has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last 11 times he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Joshua Norman, who scored 17 points along with seven rebounds and two steals.

Belleview Christian pushed their record up to 11-1 with that win, which was their 17th straight at home dating back to last season. They've been dominating during the matches in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 36.41 points. As for Front Range Baptist, their defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 5-3.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Belleview Christian will square off against Dawson School at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Dawson School will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Colorado Rankings (they are ranked 214th, while Belleview Christian is ranked 60th). As for Front Range Baptist, they will head out on the road to take on Lone Star at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
