Softball Recap: Arrowhead Christian Comes Up Short

Arrowhead Christian came into this matchup off a tough ten-run loss on Tuesday. This time they kept things ultra-competitive, but unfortunately the final result was the same. They fell just short of the Ontario Christian Knights by a score of 6-4 on Thursday. The Eagles have struggled against the Knights recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive lost meeting.

Emma Ebnit made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with one home run, two RBI, and one double. Another player making a difference was Leila Mouri, who went 2-for-4 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI.

Arrowhead Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 10-7. As for Ontario Christian, their win bumped their record up to 9-6.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Arrowhead Christian will welcome Aquinas at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Ontario Christian, they will look to defend their home field on Tuesday against Linfield Christian at 3:30 p.m. The Lions will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something the Knights surely won't give up without a fight.
