Recap: South San Francisco Warriors vs. Colusa RedHawks
It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact the South San Francisco Warriors can now relate to. They were beaten by the RedHawks 42-6 on Saturday. South San Francisco's defeat signaled the end of their 11-game winning streak.
Colusa got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Bo Coronado out in front who threw for 233 yards and three touchdowns while completing 76.2% of his passes. Another player making a difference was Isaiah Travis, who picked up 118 receiving yards and two touchdowns.
South San Francisco's defeat ended a five-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 12-2. As for Colusa, their win was their sixth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 13-0.
South San Francisco does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Colusa will square off against Sweetwater at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. Sweetwater is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune.
