Basketball Recap: Warhill's Victory on Tuesday Extends Winning Streak to Five

Warhill came tearing into Tuesday's contest with four straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 25.5 points) and they left with even more momentum. They came out on top against the Jamestown Eagles by a score of 52-41. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 43-35 back in December of 2024.

Warhill was led to victory by Bria McAdoo and Taleah James. McAdoo went 8 for 19 on her way to 19 points along with five rebounds and five steals, while James dropped a double-double on ten points and ten boards. James has been hot for a while, having also posted two or more steals the last 12 times she's played. Another player making a difference was D'Shela Walker, who posted 14 points.

Warhill has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matches, which provided a nice bump to their 10-4 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 53.4 points per game. As for Jamestown, they dropped their record down to 2-12 with the loss, which was their fifth straight on the road.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Warhill will face off against Poquoson at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Jamestown, they will challenge New Kent at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
