Football Recap: Middle Park Panthers vs. Moffat County Bulldogs
Middle Park was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat. They took a 27-12 bruising from the Moffat County Bulldogs. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Panthers of the 2-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in November of 2020.
Although Middle Park took the loss, they still got scores from Marqes Pasillas and Liam Gray.
Moffat County had a senior duo take command as Devin Key rushed for 120 yards and three touchdowns on only 15 carries and Zachary Hedman rushed for 163 yards and a touchdown while picking up 9.6 yards per carry. The dominant performance gave Key a new career-high in rushing yards.
Middle Park's defeat dropped their record down to 1-8. As for Moffat County, the win snapped their losing streak at four games and leaves them with a 3-6 record.
As of now, neither Middle Park nor Moffat County have any future games scheduled.
