Soccer Recap: Leyden Falls to Plainfield South in First Game of Season

Leyden unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-pitch advantage in their season opener. They came up short against the Plainfield South Cougars on Tuesday, falling 3-0. The match was up for grabs at halftime, but sadly the Eagles struggled afterwards.

Coming up, Leyden is headed away from home for the first time to challenge Glenbard North at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Plainfield South, they will be defending their home pitch for the first time this season when they go up against Stagg at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
