Soccer Recap: Orange Takes a Loss

The home team had come away the winner the last four times Orange and Eastern Alamance had met, but sadly for the fans who attended this one that wasn't the case. The Orange Panthers lost 9-0 to the Eastern Alamance Eagles on Monday. While losing is never fun, the Panthers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina soccer rankings (they are ranked 104th, while the Eagles are ranked 13th).

Orange now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Eastern Alamance, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-0.

Orange didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next contest, an 8-1 loss against Western Alamance on the 12th. As for Eastern Alamance, they also wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next match, a 2-0 win against Chapel Hill on the 11th.
