Softball Recap: Marion Falls Short of Mississinewa in the Playoffs

Marion and Mississinewa squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but Marion had to settle for second. They lost 14-4 to the Indians. The Giants just can't catch a break and have now endured ten defeats in a row.

Jayonna Davis was cooking despite her team's loss, going 1-for-2 with one home run and four RBI.

Marion's loss dropped their record down to 5-19. As for Mississinewa, the victory was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record up to 19-4.

As of now, neither Marion nor the Indians have any future games scheduled.
