Volleyball Game Preview: North Paulding Wolfpack vs. North Cobb Warriors

North Paulding is 0-10 against North Cobb since October of 2017 but things could change on Tuesday. The Wolfpack are headed away from home for the first time to face off against the Warriors at 6:30 p.m. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

North Paulding is headed out to face North Cobb after opening their season at home and giving their fans just what they were looking for. The Wolfpack walked away with a 2-0 win over Temple on Thursday.

North Paulding easily took the second set, but they let things get interesting in the other. The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 25-7.

Meanwhile, North Cobb sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 victory over St. Pius X Catholic on Saturday. The win continues a trend for the Warriors in their matchups with the Golden Lions: they've now won four in a row.

North Paulding suffered a grim 3-0 defeat to North Cobb when the teams last played back in August of 2024. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of the Warriors' Hannah Nicholson, who had 12 digs and six aces. Now that the Wolfpack know the damage she can cause, will they be able to stop her this time? There's only one way to find out.
