Volleyball Recap: Pewaukee Comes Up Short

Pewaukee was the 2-0 winner over Cedarburg when they last played one another back in September of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. The Pirates fell just short of the Bulldogs by a score of 2-1 on Saturday. The Pirates have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

David Strebe paced Pewaukee's offense, picking up 11 kills. Strebe got some help from Ethan Dalangin and his 23 assists.

Pewaukee's loss dropped their record down to 9-13. As for Cedarburg, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 20-8.

Pewaukee has already played their next match, a 2-0 defeat against Hartford on the 27th. As for Cedarburg, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 2-0 win against Whitnall on the 27th.
