Basketball Recap: Warwick's Loss Ends Three-Game Winning Streak on the Road

Warwick has been a dominant force so far, but they're in the middle of a mini-slump at the moment. They received a blow on Friday as they fell 55-39 to the Newburgh Free Academy Goldbacks. The Wildcats were not able to make up for their defeat to the Goldbacks from their previous meeting back in February of 2023.

Warwick's loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 8-3. As for Newburgh Free Academy, the victory snapped their losing streak at four games and leaves them with a 3-4 record.

A feisty cat fight is on tap when the Warwick Wildcats duke it out with the Kingston Tigers at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Newburgh Free Academy has already played their next match (against Uniondale), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
