Volleyball Recap: Bandys Falls Short of West Stanly in the Playoffs

Bandys and West Stanly squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but Bandys had to settle for second. They lost 3-0 to the Colts. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Trojans of the 3-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2019.

While Bandys ultimately came up short, they really made West Stanly work, particularly in the third set. The final score came out to 25-20, 25-18, 27-25.

Bandys now has a losing record of 11-12. As for West Stanly, they are on a roll lately: they've won 14 of their last 15 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 22-3 record this season.

Bandys does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for West Stanly, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 3-0 win against North Surry on the 23rd.
