Parowan extends road losing streak to seven

Recap: Parowan Rams vs. Kanab Cowboys

The Parowan Rams's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Thursday after their 13th straight loss. They were dealt a 67-40 loss at the hands of Kanab. Parowan was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 41-15.

Despite the loss, Parowan still got an impressive performance from Bella Robinson, who scored 21 points. That was a full 52.5% of Parowan's points, marking the 18th time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points. Another player making a difference was Brooklynn Edwards, who scored three points along with six rebounds.

Parowan's loss was their seventh straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 1-17. As for Kanab, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 17-2.

Parowan will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Water Canyon at 7:00 p.m. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Utah (Water Canyon is ranked 117th, while Parowan is ranked 118th). As for Kanab, they will head out on the road to challenge Beaver at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Beaver is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune.
