Soccer Recap: Bloomsburg Takes a Loss

The matchup between Bloomsburg and Hughesville on Tuesday hardly resembled the 0-0 effort from their previous meeting. The Panthers came up short against the Spartans, falling 7-1. The game was a 1-1 toss-up at halftime, but Bloomsburg couldn't quite close it out.

Bloomsburg has also been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-8 record this season. As for Hughesville, their win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 4-4.

Looking ahead, Bloomsburg will welcome Southern Columbia Area at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Hughesville, they will venture away from home to square off against Loyalsock Township at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
