Volleyball Recap: Cupertino Comes Up Short

Cupertino was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Foothill Falcons.

Cupertino's defeat dropped their record down to 4-14. As for Foothill, they are on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 12 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-8 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Cupertino will head out to take on Milpitas at 6:45 p.m. on Thursday. As for Foothill, they will venture away from home to square off against De La Salle at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
