After losing to Hinckley-Big Rock the last time they met, Plano decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Reapers had just enough and edged out the Royals 2-1. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Reapers.

Plano had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next two. The final score came out to 19-25, 25-16, 16-14.

Plano's win bumped their record up to 8-11. As for Hinckley-Big Rock, their defeat was their fifth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 2-8.
