Preview: Ross Little Giants vs. Perkins Pirates
The Ross Little Giants will head out on the road to challenge the Perkins Pirates at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Hopefully Ross is not getting complacent, as they presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Perkins in Ohio (Ross is ranked 70th, while Perkins is ranked 273rd).
Ross stacked a sixth blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Thursday. They breezed by Bowling Green on the road to the tune of 58-31. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win Ross has posted since December 8, 2023.
Perkins posted their closest victory yet this season on Saturday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Clyde and snuck past 48-46. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Perkins.
Ross' victory bumped their record up to 10-3. As for Perkins, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a nice bump to their 7-7 record this season.
Ross strolled past Perkins in their previous matchup back in November of 2022 by a score of 51-33. Does Ross have another victory up their sleeve, or will Perkins turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
