Volleyball Recap: Shenandoah Valley Academy's Undefeated Season over After Three Games

Shenandoah Valley Academy lost against Mt. Carmel Christian Academy back in September of 2018 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Stars fell just short of the Warriors by a score of 3-2. The loss put an end to the Stars' undefeated start to the season.

In a back-and-forth that saw neither team win consecutive sets, Shenandoah Valley Academy sadly dropped the once that decided the match. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-12, 19-25, 25-19, 15-25, 15-8.

Having lost for the first time this season, Shenandoah Valley Academy fell to 2-1. As for Mt. Carmel Christian Academy, they pushed their record up to 9-4 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home.

Coming up, Mt. Carmel Christian Academy will host United Christian Academy at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Shenandoah Valley Academy will be paying especially close attention to the Warriors' matchup: after the Warriors face off against the Crusaders, they'll take on Shenandoah Valley Academy again at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
