Basketball Recap: Greenwood Comes Up Short

Greenwood was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They were beaten by the Colby Hornets 70-40. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Hornets this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 75-28 back in January.

Greenwood's defeat dropped their record down to 3-15. As for Colby, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 8-9 record this season.

Greenwood wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 66-50 loss against Pittsville on the 10th. As for Colby, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, an 82-70 defeat against Rib Lake on the 10th.
