Volleyball Recap: Oberlin Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Oberlin extended their losing streak to 12 on Saturday, dropping them down to 1-12. They lost 3-0 to the Rittman Indians. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Phoenix of the 3-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2024.

As for Rittman, their win bumped their record up to 4-8. The contest marked their most dominant victory of the season.

Rittman was led to victory by Mackenzie Beltz and Lillian Cooper. Beltz had 12 digs and four aces, while Cooper had ten digs and four aces. Beltz has been hot for a while, having also posted 15 or more assists the last 13 times she's played.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Oberlin will challenge Firelands at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Falcons will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something the Phoenix surely won't give up without a fight. As for Rittman, they will welcome Cuyahoga Heights at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
