Football Recap: Wright Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Wright was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their ninth straight loss dating back to last season. They were dealt a 42-0 defeat at the hands of the North Central Jets. If the Red Devils were looking for revenge after losing 44-8 to the Jets when the teams met back in September of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Wright's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for North Central, their victory was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 4-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Wright will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Gogebic [Johnston/Wakefield] at 6:00 p.m. on October 24. As for North Central, they will square off against Lake Linden-Hubbell at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
