Mission Bay had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They really took it to the Kearny Komets for the full four quarters, racking up a 55-0 win. The Buccaneers pushed the score to 42-0 by the end of the third, a deficit the Komets had no chance of recovering from.
