Softball Recap: Sequatchie County Indians vs. Marion County Warriors

Sequatchie County put the finishing touches on their 15th blowout victory of the season on Thursday. They put the hurt on the Marion County Warriors with a sharp 11-1 victory. The win was nothing new for Sequatchie County as they're now sitting on four straight.

Amelia Casey spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned run on five hits.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Jalyn Kelly, who scored two runs and stole three bases while going 3-for-3. She is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as she's now stolen at least one in the last four games she's played. Another player making a difference was Grace Kelly, who scored two runs and stole two bases while going 1-for-3.
