Basketball Recap: North Sanpete Hawks vs. Carbon Dinos
North Sanpete's game on Tuesday was all tied up 28-28 at the half, but sadly for them it didn't stay that way. They took a 55-48 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Carbon Dinos. The Hawks' defeat continues a trend for the team, making it three in a row.

Several Hawks players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Malia Schlappi, who posted 12 points in addition to six assists and six rebounds. Schlappi is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last four games she's played. Another player making a difference was Alivia Madsen, who scored ten points.
Carbon's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Bailey Curtis, who had 11 points along with six boards and three steals. Rylee Butler also deserves some recognition as she grabbed her first steal of the season.
