Soccer Recap: Berkeley Prep Comes Up Short

Berkeley Prep managed to keep up with Jesuit until halftime on Tuesday, but things quickly went downhill from there. The Buccaneers came up short against the Tigers, falling 4-0. The loss continues a trend for Berkeley Prep in their meetings with Jesuit: they've now lost five in a row.

Berkeley Prep now has a losing record of 3-4-1. As for Jesuit, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 4-1-1 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Berkeley Prep will head out to square off against Land O' Lakes at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Jesuit, they will be taking part in a tournament against Wesley Chapel at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Jesuit will be up against Wesley Chapel's rather soft defense (which has allowed three goals per match), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
