Soccer Recap: Cambridge Comes Up Short

If Cambridge was riding high fresh off their 7-2 takedown of Columbus on Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Bluejays fell just short of the Stoughton Vikings by a score of 1-0 on Thursday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Cambridge of the 4-2 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2023.

Cambridge's loss dropped their record down to 4-3-1. As for Stoughton, they now have a winning record of 4-3.

Coming up, Cambridge is taking a road trip to take on Lodi at 6:45 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Stoughton, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Mount Horeb at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
