It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Alexander had no problem doing just that on Wednesday. Everything went their way against the Glynn Academy Terrors as they made off with a 52-31 win. The Cougars have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won ten contests by 21 points or more this season.

Alexander's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Nimah Ibidunni led the charge by dropping a double-double with 17 points and ten rebounds. The game was Ibidunni's fourth in a row with at least 17 points. Another player making a difference was Rachel Porter, who posted nine points and five boards.

Alexander was working as a unit and finished the game with 14 assists. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Glynn Academy only four assists.

Defeat or not, Glynn Academy got some senior leadership from Janiyah Spaulding and Kyra L Page. Spaulding went 5-for-11 on her way to 15 points and four steals, while L Page put up eight points. That's the most points Spaulding has posted since back in December of 2024.

Alexander pushed their record up to 20-8 with the victory, which was their 13th straight at home. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 53.2 points over those games. As for Glynn Academy, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 16-13.

Alexander didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 50-48 loss against Veterans on the 22nd. Glynn Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
