Football Recap: Everett Comes Up Short

After flying high against Monroe last Friday, Everett came back down to earth. The Seagulls lost 37-13 to the Shorewood Stormrays on Friday. The Seagulls were not able to make up for their loss to the Stormrays from their previous meeting back in October of 2024.

The defeat was their first at home , dropping their record down to 3-2. As for Shorewood, they pushed their record up to 5-0 with the victory, which was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Everett will take on rival Meadowdale at 8:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Shorewood is set to square off against their familiar foe Mountlake Terrace at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The two teams have allowed few points on average (the Stormrays 9.6, the Hawks 1.5) so any points scored will be well earned.
