Volleyball Game Preview: Johnson Warriors vs. Armijo Royals

The Johnson Warriors will face off against the Armijo Royals at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.

Last Wednesday, Johnson didn't have quite enough to beat Burbank and fell 3-2.

Johnson started the match hot and won the first two sets, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The final score came out to 23-25, 25-27, 25-14, 25-17, 18-16.

Meanwhile, it was close, but on Wednesday Armijo sidestepped Fairfield for a 3-2 win.

Armijo wouldn't go down easily and took Fairfield into a fifth set where they got it done with a 11-point win. The match finished with set scores of 22-25, 25-16, 25-10, 24-26, 15-4.

Armijo's victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 2-3. As for Johnson, their loss was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 3-2.
