Leadership Academy had lost nine straight on the road dating back to last season, but on Wednesday they dropped down to 0-6 to make it ten. They came up short against the Trinity Bulldogs, falling 52-32. On the bright side, the 32- point performance marked the Falcons' highest-scoring game to date.

Leadership Academy's defeat came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Briana Ramirez, who dropped a double-double with 17 points and ten boards. That was a full 53.1% of the Falcons' points, marking the third time in a row Ramirez has posted more than a third of the team's points.

As for Trinity, their win bumped their record up to 3-4. The victory continues a trend for them in their matchups with Leadership Academy: they've now won three in a row.

Leading Trinity to victory were Madison Hill and Ava Nance. Hill put up 17 points along with seven rebounds and seven steals, while Nance had 11 points in addition to five assists and four steals. Hill has become a key player for the Bulldogs: the team is 2-1 when she posts at least three steals, but 1-3 otherwise. The team also got some help courtesy of Karleigh Lowe, who earned two points in addition to seven boards and seven steals.

Looking ahead, Leadership Academy will be playing in front of their home fans against Morehead at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Trinity, they will head out on the road to face off against South Davidson at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
