Softball Recap: Calabasas Takes a Loss

Calabasas lost against Taft back in March of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Calabasas Coyotes lost 10-1 to the Taft Toreadors. The Coyotes have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Calabasas saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Milla Romano, who scored a run while going 2-for-4.

Calabasas' loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Taft, the victory got them back to even at 1-1.

Calabasas has already played their next match, a 10-1 defeat against Heritage Christian on the 10th. As for Taft, they will look to take advantage of their home field for the first time this season as they take on Foothill Tech at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Foothill Tech knows how to get runs on the board -- the team has finished with ten runs or more in their past three games -- so hopefully Taft likes a good challenge.
