Basketball Game Preview: Quincy Orioles vs. Bronson Vikings

Quincy is 0-10 against Bronson since February of 2021 but things could change on Wednesday. The Quincy Orioles will square off against the Bronson Vikings at 5:30 p.m. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Quincy saw some tournament action on Monday. They enjoyed a cozy 43-28 victory over Union City. The win continues a trend for the Orioles in their matchups with the Chargers: they've now won seven in a row.

Meanwhile, Bronson had already won 14 in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 22.8 points) and they went ahead and made it 15 on Thursday. They breezed past the Huskies to the tune of 63-30. The Vikings have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 11 games by 23 points or more this season.

Bronson pushed their record up to 20-2 with the victory, which was their 15th straight at home dating back to last season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 57.2 points over those games. As for Quincy, their win bumped their record up to 14-9.

Quincy lost to Bronson on the road by a decisive 59-40 margin when the teams last played back in February. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of Bronson's Aubree Calloway, who went 9-for-13 en route to 24 points in addition to eight boards and four steals.
