Pinelands Regional put another one in the bag on Wednesday to keep their perfect season alive. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 3-2 W against the Southern Regional Rams. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 2-0 two weeks ago.

Pinelands Regional was actually outscored in aggregate across those five sets (103-98), but they still managed to win. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 15-25, 18-25, 25-22, 15-11.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Pinelands Regional to victory, but perhaps none more so than Jayda Quigley, who had 18 digs, 14 kills, and four aces. Those 14 kills gave Quigley a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Jayla Kline, who had 30 digs and two aces.

They weren't the only good servers: Pinelands Regional was lethal from the service line and finished the match with ten aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least six aces in five consecutive contests.

Pinelands Regional's victory bumped their record up to 15-0. As for Southern Regional, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-3.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Pinelands Regional will square off against Cedar Creek at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Southern Regional, they will take on Princeton at 5:45 p.m. on Tuesday.
