Dawson came out on top against Pasadena Memorial on Tuesday thanks in part to the team's impressive four-run first inning. The Eagles took their contest against the Mavericks 6-1. The win continues a trend for the Eagles in their matchups with the Mavericks: they've now won six in a row.

Dawson's victory bumped their record up to 13-10. As for Pasadena Memorial, they have been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last nine games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 10-11 record this season.
