Basketball Game Preview: Hamilton/Audubon vs. Milwaukee Juneau Pioneers

Hamilton/Audubon will face off against the Milwaukee Juneau Pioneers at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Milwaukee Juneau took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on Hamilton/Audubon, who comes in off a win.

Hamilton/Audubon will bounce into Thursday's match after beating Milwaukee King, who they had gone 0-8 against in their eight prior meetings. Hamilton/Audubon had just enough and edged Milwaukee King out 48-46. That's two games straight that Hamilton/Audubon has won by exactly two points.

Meanwhile, it's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 74-27, which was the final score in Milwaukee Juneau's tilt against St. Joseph on Monday. While losing is never fun, the Pioneers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Wisconsin basketball rankings (they are ranked 463rd, while the Lancers are ranked 160th).

Hamilton/Audubon is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a nice bump to their 13-5 record this season. As for Milwaukee Juneau, they have also been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last nine games, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-9 record this season.

Hamilton/Audubon didn't have too much breathing room in their match against Milwaukee Juneau in their previous matchup back in January, but they still walked away with a 57-53 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Hamilton/Audubon since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
