Baseball Game Preview: Omro Foxes vs. Lomira Lions

For the second straight game, Omro will face off against Lomira. The Foxes will square off against the Lions at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.

Last Tuesday, Omro wound up with the same score they had in their last game (9-4), but sadly the team found themselves on the wrong side of the score this time. The defeat continues a trend for them in their meetings with the Lions: they've now lost seven in a row.

Omro saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jake Hunter, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-1. Connor Grams was another, going 1-for-2 with two stolen bases.

Omro's loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Lomira, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Omro couldn't quite get it done against Lomira in their previous meeting on Tuesday as they fell 9-4. Can the Foxes avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
