Soccer Game Preview: Angleton vs. Georgetown

The Angleton Wildcats will face off against the Georgetown Eagles at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Angleton's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for four straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Angleton fell victim to George Ranch and their airtight defense on Thursday. They fell just short of the Longhorns by a score of 1-0.

Meanwhile, Georgetown kept a clean sheet against Victoria East on Thursday. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Titans. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Georgetown.

Georgetown's victory bumped their record up to 5-3-1. As for Angleton, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-3-1.
