            Basketball Recap: Tabernacle Torches vs. Tuscaloosa Christian Warriors        
        
		
        
        
            Tabernacle was not able to break out of their rough patch  on Tuesday as the team picked up their seventh straight  loss. They fell  41-31 to the Tuscaloosa Christian Warriors. The  match marked the Torches' lowest-scoring  game so far this season.
 Tuscaloosa Christian got their  win on the backs of several key players, but it was  Alec Joiner out in front who  went 5 for 10 on his way to 10  points in addition to eight  rebounds and three  steals. The team also got some help courtesy of  Alex Anglin, who  went 6 for 10 on his way to 15 points and five  rebounds.
Tabernacle's defeat dropped their record down to 1-8. As for Tuscaloosa Christian,  the  victory made it two in a row for them and  bumps their season record up to 8-1.
 Both  squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Tabernacle will take on Valley Fellowship Christian Academy in a holiday battle at 7:00  p.m.  on December 19th at. Tabernacle is facing Valley Fellowship Christian Academy at the right time seeing as Valley Fellowship Christian Academy is stuck on  a  three-game losing streak. As for Tuscaloosa Christian, they will take on Clay County Christian Academy at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday. Tuscaloosa Christian is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 51.7  points per game  this season.
