Baseball Recap: Millis Mohawks vs. Medfield Warriors

Millis extended their losing streak (dating back to last season) to 17 on Wednesday, dropping them down to 0-15. They lost 13-3 to the Medfield Warriors. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Warriors this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 17-4 back in April.

Millis saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Bryce Ferguson, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base and one run. Harrison Greymont also deserves some recognition as he brought in his first RBI of the season.

As for Medfield, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 12-7. That said, the team wasn't facing the toughest opposition over that stretch, as it included 0-15 Millis and 4-13 Dover-Sherborn.

On Medfield's side, Adam Farne was incredible, going 1-for-2 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one triple. That's the most runs Farne has posted since back in April of 2025. The team also got some help courtesy of Owen Armstrong, who went 1-for-2 with two runs, two RBI, and one double.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Millis will host Dover-Sherborn at 11:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for Medfield, they will be playing in front of their home fans against King Philip Regional at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. The last four games King Philip Regional has played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
