Softball Recap: Cypress Creek Takes a Loss

Cypress Creek lost against Sunlake back in February of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Cypress Creek Coyotes took a 6-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Sunlake Seahawks. The Coyotes have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Cypress Creek saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Taylor Fuglesang, who went 1-for-4 with two stolen bases. Those two stolen bases gave Fuglesang a new career-high.

Cypress Creek now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Sunlake, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 5-0.

Cypress Creek has already played their next matchup, a 3-2 win against Wiregrass Ranch on the 28th. As for Sunlake, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 5-4 loss against Dunedin on the 28th.
