Basketball Recap: James Logan Comes Up Short

James Logan was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a 57-43 bruising from the Newark Memorial Cougars. While losing is never fun, the Colts can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 677th, while the Cougars are ranked 323rd).

James Logan's defeat dropped their record down to 7-16. As for Newark Memorial, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 14-10.

Looking ahead, James Logan will face off against Kennedy at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Newark Memorial, they will head out on the road to challenge Mission San Jose at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
