Softball Game Preview: Warren County Wildcats vs. Liberty Eagles

The Warren County Wildcats are taking a road trip to challenge the Liberty Eagles at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Warren County is looking for their season's first victory.

It was a proper cat-fight when Warren County faced off against Brentsville District on Tuesday. The Wildcats came up short against the Tigers, falling 12-3.

Warren County saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Ariel Rogers, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 3-for-3. Another was Sophia Lamendola, who went 2-for-4 with two RBI.

Meanwhile, Liberty lost 16-1 to James Wood on Tuesday. The Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Liberty's loss dropped their record down to 4-3. As for Warren County, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-5.

Warren County suffered a grim 13-2 defeat to Liberty in their previous matchup back in March. Can the Wildcats avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
