Football Recap: Oregon Takes a Loss

If Oregon was riding high fresh off their 40-8 takedown of Lutheran last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Hawks were beaten by the Byron Tigers 35-7 on Friday. The Hawks were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 21-0.

Having lost for the first time this season, Oregon fell to 2-1. As for Byron, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 3-0.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Oregon is set to square off against their familiar foe Rock Falls at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Byron will take on rival Stillman Valley at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
