Football Recap: Pj Miller Leads a Balanced Attack to Beat Flagler Palm Coast

Spruce Creek's found some homefield redemption this week after a overtime loss to Seminole on Friday. Everything went the Hawks' way against the Flagler Palm Coast Bulldogs as they made off with a 35-13 win. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for the Hawks considering their ten-point performance the contest before.

Spruce Creek's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Pj Miller, who rushed for 121 yards and one TD while picking up 7.6 yards per carry. That's the most rushing yards Miller has posted since back in September of 2024. John Rilly helped out on the ground, rushing for 84 yards.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: Spruce Creek was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 319 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've managed all season.

Spruce Creek didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. In fact, those interceptions all came courtesy of defensive juggernaut Kameren Giddens. Spruce Creek got some further help from Chadwicke Cannon: he picked up a sack, forced one fumble, and made six total tackles (2.0 for loss).

Spruce Creek's record now sits at 7-1. As for Flagler Palm Coast, their defeat was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 3-6.
