Basketball Recap: Fort Madison Comes Up Short

After flying high against Ottumwa last Thursday, Fort Madison came back down to earth. The Fort Madison Bloodhounds took a blow against the Knoxville Panthers on Thursday, falling 83-44. While losing is never fun, the Bloodhounds can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Iowa basketball rankings (they are ranked 138th, while the Panthers are ranked 30th).

Fort Madison's defeat dropped their record down to 11-11. As for Knoxville, the win keeps them at an undefeated 25-0.

As of now, neither Fort Madison nor Knoxville have any future games scheduled.
